摘要:
The basic region leucine zipper and basic region helix-loop-helix proteins constitute two large families of eukaryotic transcription factors. Recent crystal structures of basic region leucine zipper-DNA and basic region helix-loop-helix-DNA complexes provide the details of these protein-DNA interactions and offer insights into the details of the site-specific recognition of DNA.
