Emerging information technologies: Developing a timely IT strategy

摘要
A model for quickly sifting through emerging technology to find the best organizational fit technology is discussed. The executives indicated unanimously that access to inform regarding EITs and the time resource required to evaluate the new techologies are critical preliminary evaluation factors. It is recommended that the technologies on a continuous basis and define existing business processes and supporiting IT for each process. Qualitative feedback collected via a series of online chat sessions with the study participants revealed that the overwhelming majority of the participating executive believe the integration decision of EITs is stratified into two separate by interrelated assessment areas: business alignment and technical alignment.
