摘要
It is demonstrated that linalyl acetate is biosynthesised via the non-mevalonate (1-deoxyxylulose phosphate) terpene pathway in the plant Mentha citrata. The incorporation of isotopically labelled DL-[3-H-2(3)]-alanine and [6,6-H-2(2)]-D-glucose has revealed that five of the deuterium atoms of 1-deoxyxylulose phosphate are retained during the biosynthesis of linalyl acetate.
