中国金融发展是绿色的吗——兼论中国环境库兹涅茨曲线假说

摘要：

本文首先基于规模、技术、结构三个视角,构建金融发展、经济增长作用环境质量的理论框架,提出以下假说:金融发展借由规模变化、技术进步、结构转型影响环境质量的效果分别为负、正、正;金融发展的环境效应取决于上述三种机制的相对大小;经济增长与环境之间的环境库兹涅茨曲线假说同污染指标选取有关。其次,结合中介效应方法与交乘项系数法,构建计量模型,实证检验、识别金融发展的环境效应及其影响机制。再次,采取"纵横向拉开档次法",核算中国金融发展综合指数,测算结果表明:中国东、中、西部地区之间金融发展虽然存在区域性差异,但呈现出协调发展趋势。最后,采用动态省级面板数据与系统GMM模型,实证检验上述假说,并通过了稳健性检验。本文认为,充分发挥金融发展影响环境的技术效应与结构效应,促进自主研发创新是实现中国绿色低碳发展的重要途径。
