数字金融能促进创业吗?——来自中国的证据

摘要：

本文将北京大学数字普惠金融指数省一级数据与用来度量地区创业活跃度的新增企业注册信息相匹配,研究了数字金融的发展和推广与企业创业之间的关系。在考虑了内生性等因素后,我们发现数字金融的发展对创业有显著的促进作用,而且数字金融的覆盖广度、使用深度和数字支持服务程度也均对创业有显著的促进作用。同时,在作用机制的分析中,本文发现数字金融的发展对于城镇化率较低的省份、注册资本较少的微型企业有更强的鼓励创业的作用,这体现出了数字金融普惠性的特征。
