摘要：

本文在现有文献的基础上首次系统地探讨了金融发展与社会公平的关系。我们利用中国时间序列数据实证研究表明,信贷规模的增加不能改善社会公平,金融深化则在一定程度上扩大了社会差距,而股票市场的发展对社会公平基本上没有显著影响,但增加私人信贷有利于缩小社会差距。本文的结论是:要提高中国社会公平,必须改变中国以政府为主导的金融制度,构建具有竞争性的以市场化和多元化为特征的普惠性金融系统,及发展以保护投资者为核心的多层次股票市场。
