摘要：

本文以中国加入WTO所引发的大幅度关税减让为背景,使用1998～2007年高度细化的关税数据和工业企业大样本微观数据考察了贸易自由化对中国工业的企业成长及规模分布的影响。研究发现,最终产品关税减让对企业成长没有明显影响,而中间投入品关税减让则显著促进了企业成长,贸易自由化在总体上体现为有利于企业的规模扩张。分组检验表明贸易自由化对本土企业、非出口企业成长的影响程度分别大于外资企业与出口企业。此外,最终产品与中间投入品的关税减让分别降低和提高了企业规模分布的Pareto指数,贸易自由化在总体上有助于使企业的规模分布变得更加均匀。进一步的分组研究还发现,最终产品关税减让对小企业造成较大负面冲击,而中间投入品关税减让更有利于中小企业成长。
