摘要：

The nucleotide sequences of bla(TEM) genes coding for the extended-spectrum beta-lactamases CAZ-3 and CTX-2 were determined. The gene for CAZ-3 is identical to bla(TEM)-(12b). The gene for CTX-2 differs from characterized bla(TEM) genes for extended-spectrum beta-lactamases by a new combination of already known mutations. We propose for CTX-2 the designation TEM-25.
