<正> With the rapid development of the software engineer, now the structural design has evolved to the component-based software design. In this paper, we describe the design of grass information platform, which is based on component technology. The architecture of component is hiberarchy. There are three levels of the components, the abstract components are on the bottom, dynamic components are in the middle , and fuctional component are on the top. By integrating the GIS ( Geographic Information System), Database and ES ( Expert System), it can provide both geographic information and intelligent decision. Finally, we give conclusions and a future research plan.
