<正>In US,practices of designing and building sustainable built environments have been greatly increased as the construction industry has embraced the USGBC(US Green Building Council)'s green building rating system, LEED(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design),as a de facto standard for defining and measuring levels of"green"-ncss in building projects.It is not a simple collection of sustainability-related technical documents but it is a working guideline of a new paradigm for building an environmentally, economically,and socially healthy society.However,the continuing success of this emerging trend largely hinges on the understanding of furore building owners and users not only what benefits green buildings provide for them but also how realizable this sustainability can be in their own projects in terms of the availability and affordability of green technologies.It is especially tree now that there are various types of building owners and users interested in greening their buildings. Therefore,education and dissemination of the successful sustainability- featured building project cases are essential to make future user groups better understand the reality of the current green building technology.
