摘要
A radioactive assay for guanidoacetate methyltransferase is described. It is based on a separation by an AG 50 (NH4+) column, on which [methyl-14C]Adenosylmethionine is adsorbed, in contrast to [methyl-14C]creatine which can be collected in the effluent fraction. Guanidoacetate methyltransferase is sensitive to inhibition by adenosylhomocysteine and 3-deazaadenosylhomocysteine. © 1979.
