摘要
The merits of decorrelation stretching as an aid to visual image interpretation are becoming increasingly widely recognized, especially in geology. Although fairly simple in concept, decorrelation stretching is not always an option on commercial menu-driven image processing software. However, most systems include a principal components transformation package. This note demonstrates how decorrelation stretching can be achieved using principal components transformation as provided by such systems, followed by weighted summation. © Taylor & Francis Ltd.
