摘要
We examined the role of metabotropic glutamate receptors by studying the effect of intracerebroventricular infusion of the putative mGluR agonist trans-azetidine-2,4-dicarboxylic acid (tADA) on long-term potentiation (LTP) in the dentate gyrus of freely moving rats. Weak tetanization caused a decremental potentiation which returned to baseline levels within 2 hr. Injections of tADA (20 mM/5 mu 1) 30 min prior to weak tetanization prolonged LTP of the field EPSP for at least 24 hr.
