摘要
This article reports the results of a study that investigated the consequences for 180 National Association of Purchasing Management buyers of not receiving delivery (stockout) of products their companies had purchased. The results showed that stockouts often cause costly production disruptions and that buyers often abandon suppliers who can't deliver the product. The study raises a series of sales and distribution management issues. © 1991.
