摘要
Various imaging modalities are available for the evaluation and treatment of critically ill patients. Advancements in technology have enabled many of these techniques to move from the radiology department to the bedside. Surgeons in the ICU are performing an increasing number of imaging and therapeutic procedures. Although the learning curve is often steep, the potential benefits to the patient who avoids transport out of the ICU may be substantial.
