摘要：

In this contribution differences in the innovation activities of manufacturing enterprises in II European regions are analysed. A number of differences could be identified in the data even when controlling SOT the individual characteristics of the enterprises and their respective markets. These differences mag: however, be primarily the result of factors at the national level and not of determinants that are region specific.
