摘要：

The effect of intensive lowering of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol with atorvastatin was compared with low-dose lovastatin in I 10 patients with stable angina pectoris and inducible myocardial ischemia. Over 12 months, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and C-reactive protein decreased significantly with atorvastatin, with half of the long-term change occurring within 4 weeks.
