摘要：

本文全面地综述了西方城市土地利用理论研究的最新进展。在简要地介绍了历史形态学方法与生态区位理论、空间经济学方法与经济区位理论、行为学方法与社会区位理论，以及政治经济学方法与政治区位理论等4种基本方法与主要理论流派的基础上，对其各自的独到功力及其局限性进行了较深入的评析。
