中国居民退休前后的消费行为研究

摘要：

本文基于城镇住户调查数据检验中国居民在退休前后的消费是否平滑,是否存在退休消费之谜。基于中国的强制退休制度,我们使用断点回归法估计了退休对家庭非耐用品消费的影响。结果显示退休会使家庭非耐用品消费减少21%,其中与工作相关的支出减少33%,在家的食品支出减少13%,但闲暇娱乐支出变化不显著。剔除这三类消费之后,剩余的消费在退休后没有显著变化。因此,受到强制退休制度约束的居民,其生活水平在退休后并没有实质性下降。
