摘要：

运用中国农村的调查数据,本文研究了当选村主任来自最大姓对家庭平滑消费程度的影响,并从在位者问责的角度进行解释。我们发现,相比于当选村主任来自其他姓氏的村庄,来自最大姓的村庄平滑消费程度更低。原因在于,来自最大姓的村主任能利用在宗族中的相对位置,从一种非正式权威出发,说服其宗族成员支持其决策,使得行政权力能充分发挥,会增加村庄公共品投资,但不会影响家庭的私人补贴。这些发现有助于理解传统组织(如宗族)与现代制度(如选举)之间的互动关系,并为村庄治理提供一个参考。
