摘要：

本文基于CFPS数据,利用工具变量法研究了中国城镇40—59岁男性和女性提供家庭照料对其劳动供给的影响,并探讨了性别差异。研究结果表明,家庭照料增加会减少照料提供者的劳动参与概率和工作时间。而性别差异表现在:首先,与男性相比,女性提供更多的家庭照料;其次,女性的劳动参与概率受照料提供的负影响大于男性,而男性的劳动参与时间受照料提供的影响大于女性。这些结果具有鲜明的政策含义:提高照料服务的社会化水平,以减轻临近退休年龄劳动力人口的家庭照料负担,是非常必要而且迫切的。
