大客户能够提升上市公司业绩吗?——基于我国供应链客户关系的研究

摘要：

本文用手动收集的2007-2012年所有A股上市公司年报中披露的前五大销售客户数据,用杜邦分析的方法研究了大客户与公司业绩的关系。结果发现,客户集中度越高的公司,经营业绩(ROA)越差,主要原因是毛利率和应收账款周转率降低。同时,为了维护与大客户之间的关系,供应商支付了更多的招待费用,并且由于大客户拖欠应收款项,导致财务费用增加。进一步研究发现,客户集中度对业绩的影响取决于供应商-客户关系的紧密程度及相对议价能力;在产能过剩比较严重的行业,客户资源能够加速企业资金和货物的周转,对企业具有一定的积极作用。
