替代效应还是收入效应?——家庭老年照料对女性劳动参与率的影响

摘要：

随着我国人口老龄化和高龄化,家庭老年照料责任与女性参与劳动之间的矛盾日益突出。本文运用中国营养与健康调查2009年数据和工具变量分析方法,实证检验了承担家庭老年照料责任对女性劳动参与率的影响,以期为公共政策的制定提供科学依据。结果表明,老年照料对女性劳动参与存在替代效应,造成对就业的负面影响。为父母提供照料帮助的女性劳动力参与率下降了23.8%,其中与父母公婆同住的女性,照料责任使其劳动参与率下降49.08%,农村女性照料活动使其劳动参与率下降28.1%。
