摘要
基质金属蛋白酶-9(MMP-9)是一种Zn2+依赖性蛋白水解酶,能降解和重塑细胞外基质,破坏血脑屏障,介导炎症反应,促进神经细胞死亡,同时也有利于运动功能的恢复。MMP-9激活和调控与神经系统疾病的发病机制有密切的关系。MMP-9是研究过程中发现的新靶点,为神经系统疾病的早期诊断、并发症的预防和治疗开辟了新的途径,为神经系统疾病患者的治疗带来曙光。
