Ye Tianshi usually treated collateral diseases from the perspective of miscellaneous diseases.The pathogenesis of “early disorder involves qi and late disorder involves blood”,as a matter of fact,is closely related to the transmission of exogenous febrile diseases from defense phase through qi and ying phases to blood phase;the febrile pathogen first lodges in qi phase and later in blood phase.This article also presents the treatment methods and characteristics of drug administration,as well as some proven cases in the treatment of collateral disease.
