摘要：

本文考察了1990年至2002年间决定中国农村收入增长差异的经济和非经济因素。通过估计收入增长方程,我们首先证实了初始人力资本水平和基础设施状况有显著的正效应。其次,由村层面的社会关系稳定程度度量的社会资本也是一个显著促进收入增长的因素。本文发现的政策含义是:促进农村地区社会稳定的公共政策需要加强,同时也要增加对农村地区,尤其是低收入地区的教育和基础设施建设上的财政支持。
