地方性知识的构造

The “local knowledge” discussed in this article is not a certain kind of knowledge, but a new-type conception of knowledge. According to this conception, we have already engaged in the process of constructing and arguing for knowledge whenever studying, working and doing experiments. The context we realistically inhabit is always certain, so the knowledge constructed and argued for is always “local”. This conception of “local knowledge” is gradually becoming a mainstream of western philosophy of science, since Kuhn, with the development of neo-philosophy of science, social constructivism of SSK and Rouse’s cultural constructivism. The author not only emphasizes the critical sense of “local knowledge”, but confirms its openness and innovation sense through practical engaging.
