The historical materialism established by Marx and Engels, is not the one taking history to be the object of explanation, but the new materialism regarding history as the principle of new materialism. The historical materialism is not just a new history view of Marxism, but Marxist new world-view as well. In the new world-view of Marxism, Marxist dialectics and materialism achieve the unity in terms of the principle of history; of the real people and their historical development as the theoretical content. It can be seen that Marxist new world-view of history was evaluated and interpreted systematically in the German Ideology.
