从职业评价与择业取向看中国社会结构变迁

The paper reports ratings of occupational prestige and inclinations of choosing occupation by urban residents in 63 cities of China.Using a representative sample (N=2599) aged above 16 and comparing with several other researches,the author found that ratings of occupational prestige and inclinations of choosing occupation by urban residents reflected the deeply changing process of social structure in China.The change is going on along two axes.One is the axis of marketization:on the one hand,people like occupations of “ti zhi wai”(informality) more and more;on the other hand,occupations of power sections are still looked upon with favor by a lot of people.The other is the axis of industrial structure,occupations contacting with new knowledge or new technology have begun to lead the new trend of occupational change and social mobility of China.Finally,a series of predictive equations are constructed to estimate prestige scores for all occupations in urban China.
