TRANSFORMATION OF MAMMALIAN-CELLS BY AVIAN MYELOCYTOMATOSIS VIRUS AND AVIAN ERYTHROBLASTOSIS VIRUS

摘要
Clones of rat cells transformed by avian myelocytomatosis virus strain MC29 and avian erythroblastosis virus have been isolated. These cells display an altered morphology and are able to form colonies in soft agar. Focus-forming virus can be rescued from the transformed rat cells by fusion with chick cells. © 1979.
