摘要：

This paper constructs an equilibrium model by formalizing a trade-off between the gains from trade based on increasing returns to specialization and transaction costs. The relationship between development, structural changes, and urbanization is investigated. In addition, the function of a free market in searching for the efficient market structure is explored. © 1990.
