摘要
It has recently been emphasized that the Leimkuhler curve and the Gini index are valuable in giving respectively graphical and numerical summaries of the concentration of bibliometric distributions. In this paper these tools are further investigated from a probabilistic viewpoint. In particular, the importance of the time parameter and the special nature of the "nonproducers" in bibliometric studies are highlighted.
