摘要
Extracts of the bark of Pavetta owariensis were found to exhibit in vitro antiviral and antibacterial activities. Bioassay‐gnided fractionation resulted in the isolation of new antimicrobially active dimeric, trimeric and tetrameric proanthocyanidins with doubly linked structures. The presence of (+)‐catechin and chlorogenic acid in the active fractions was also demonstrated. Copyright © 1990 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
