摘要
Evidence is reviewed which demonstrates that the recently observed low-temperature electron state arising from the Kondo effect in metals containing small numbers of transition element impurities is present over a much wider temperature range than is generally appreciated. The possibility that this state forms a link between magnetic and nonmagnetic impurity states in metals as suggested by Schrieffer is discussed. © 1968 The American Physical Society.
